KEVIN L. ELDER

Kevin has been practicing as a civil litigation attorney for 34 years. For the first 18 years he worked as an associate for a civil litigation defense firm. He tried many cases to jury verdict and earned partnership status after his first 5 years. Kevin moved to the plaintiff bar in 2008 to serve as Penney and Associates managing trial attorney. Since 2008, Kevin has continued to successfully try cases to jury verdict. He has received verdicts and settlements totaling well over 65 million dollars for his clients. Kevin is a proud member of the American Board of Trail Advocates (ABOTA)—a respected professional organization whose membership is by invitation only and approved by 75% of the members (less than 1% of all practicing lawyers throughout the country are admitted as ABOTA members).

During the last 4 years Kevin has tried 4 jury trials notwithstanding COVID. His verdicts for the 4 cases totaled more than 12 million dollars. In addition, Kevin was the lead trial attorney in a Federal Court case that settled in June of 2022 for more than $14,000,000.

Kevin enjoys litigation and the fight to achieve the best result for the client. He handles all types of personal injury cases including but not limited to wrongful death, catastrophic injury, aircraft, motor vehicle, product liability, premises liability, and most causes of action relating to personal injury. Kevin practices throughout the state of California and has tried cases in eight different counties. His primary office location is in the city of Roseville. The firm has satellite offices throughout California which enables Kevin to meet with new clients and handle new cases everywhere in the State.

Kevin's clients have been very satisfied with his results and most importantly his ethics. He prides himself in aggressive prosecution of claims on behalf of his clients and never settles without maximizing the recovery. Kevin is very passionate about his work and has found much gratitude in representing injured people, their families and friends. He is a member of the exclusive Multi-Million and Million Dollar Advocate Forum, the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), the California Trial Lawyers Association, and has earned the Lifetime Achievement Award of the "America's Top 100 Attorneys." Kevin has also received an AVVO Rating of 10/10 and he has been voted by Sacramento Magazine as one of the city's "Best Attorneys" every year since 2016.

Kevin was raised in Carmichael, California and currently resides in Rocklin, California with his wife Dawn. In their spare time they enjoy traveling, hiking, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. They have a son, a daughter and son in law and have 1 grandson named Hank who is 1 year old.

Kevin is licensed to practice in all the courts in California including the California Supreme Court. He has been admitted to practice in the United States Federal District Courts in the Eastern, Northern, and Southern Districts of California.
