Dillon Whitsett
ATTORNEY
Dillon Whitsett earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Cal Northern School of Law in 2017, where he was awarded numerous scholarly accolades and graduated as valedictorian at the top of his class. He immediately took and passed the difficult California State Bar exam on his first try and was officially sworn in as a practicing attorney. Mr. Whitsett now handles personal injury cases at Penney & Associates’ Chico office.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Whitsett displayed a passion for advocating. He volunteered in several county civil courthouses teaching self-help classes to pro per litigants, worked alongside numerous judges, and contracted with private and state mental health facilities as a patient’s rights advocate, where he was entrusted with the responsibility of training nursing staff on the Constitutional rights of patients.
Thus, it comes as no surprise that Mr. Whitsett set out to pursue a career as a personal injury attorney, where he dedicates himself to the advocacy of those in need on a daily basis. His skillful advocating and personal attention to the needs of each client has led to the successful negotiation of numerous difficult cases with very favorable results.
In his spare time, Dillon plays guitar for several successful bands across California, Oregon, and Nevada.
